We have switched to channel 72 to stay on top of any changes.

8/17/08  Another wonderful Sunday with sunny skies and winds out of the SW at 10-15mph.  There were 6 boats in the Open fleet, with Peltiers winning both races.  In the C fleet, 5 boats came out and Burgum Family (LP1) won both races.

8/10/08  Good winds out of the SE at 10-15mph made for a great race day.  In the Open fleet, Brad and Carol Schlossman won the 1st race with a good show of speed and Peltiers won the 2nd race.  In the C fleet, Gary Ostbye won both races.

8/4/08 The weather started a little turbulent, but eventually settled in out of the east at 5 to 15 mph.  A smaller fleet (Wallwork hangover maybe?) of 5 open fleet boats and 4 c boats made the course.  In the Open fleet, Mike Ostbye won the 1st race and Peltiers won the 2nd race.  Gary Ostbye won both races in the C fleet.

7/20/08 Winds started out of the S and 5mph and ended up out of the NW at 5 mph. In the C fleet, David  Schlossman won the 1st race and Gary Ostbye won the 2nd race.  In the Open fleet, Mike Ostbye won the races with the big new happening in the 2nd race when 3 boats finished within the same second on corrected time (Bredlows', Burgums', and Sprouls) and the calculations had to go to 1/1000 of a minute to determine the order.

7/13/08  This Sunday brought winds of 15 to 20 mph with occasional gusts to 25.  In the Open fleet of 6 boats, only Dan Sprouls and Peltiers were able to fly spinnakers, because of the wind and there was one tip-over as Dan went over in the 2nd race.  Dan also won the 1st race, while Mike won the 2nd race.  In the C fleet, there was also one tip-over in the 2nd race, when Doug and Joe Burgum went over.  Jeff Schlossman won  the 1st race, while Gary Ostbye won the 2nd race.

7/6/08  Another day of light air sailing brought 9 boats from the Open fleet and 4 boats from the C fleet.  The 1st race of the C fleet was the PLPOA cup race, won by Gary Ostbye LP7, while Burgum family LP1, won the 2nd race.  In the Open fleet, Peltiers won the 1st race and Mike Ostbye won the 2nd race.

7/4/08  It was a beautiful day, except the winds were light and variable.  The judges were still able to get the race off with 10 in the Open fleet and 3 in the C fleet. Burgum Family won the C fleet, while Mike Ostbye won the Open fleet.

6/29/08  A healthy breeze out of the north brought 8 boats in the open fleet and 4 in the C fleet.  In the C fleet Gary Ostbye won the 1st race, which was enough to win the spring series and Burgum Family won the 2nd race.  In the Open fleet, Mike Ostbye won the 2st race and Dan Sprouls, won the 2nd race.

6/22/08 Finally a nice day and it brought a nice turnout of boats.  There were 10 boats in the Open Fleet and 4 in the C fleet.  In some very close racing, Peltier's won both open fleet races and in the C fleet, Burgum Family won the 1st race and Jeff Schlossman won the 2nd race.

6/1/08  After postponing the Memorial Day cup race because of bad weather, today was a great day with westerly winds of about 10 mph.  There were 6 boats in the open fleet the Mike Ostbye placed 1st in and 2 boats in the C fleet that Jeff Schlossman won.  A second race was  run for regular season results and the same two won those races also.
